Has there ever been a good day without a cup of coffee involved? How about we add a little something special to your daily cup of joe? Making your morning cup of coffee can be a little more complicated than you think, but in a lot of ways, it sets your day up to a good start!

Tip One:

Find good quality coffee and look for a roast date on the coffee bag. Make sure it’s within the last month.

Tip Two:

It’s a good rule of thumb that if you don’t like to drink from your tap, use filtered water to make your coffee.

Tip Three:

Throwback to a pour-over method for your coffee.

Tip Four:

This is a very common mistake. Let your boiling water cool for a minute. The perfect temperature range for a good brew is between 200 – 205°F.

Tip Five:

Make sure to rinse your coffee filter with hot water. This will help the oxygen levels when your coffee is being brewed.

Tip Six:

Sip it while it’s fresh. Drink your coffee within 25 minutes of when it has been brewed. This will give you the best temperature and flavor.
