Nice weather is just about here and that means it’s time to take to the mountains for some good old-fashioned camping.
Now, we’re not saying you have to do everything in the traditional camping sense, but it can be good to know some outdoor basics just to be prepared. You don’t want to get out into the woods and get stuck in a situation you aren’t ready for, granted most campgrounds nowadays are set up pretty well.
Camping is all about your supplies. A few good tools will help you be comfortable in the great outdoors. Always expect the best but prepare for the worst. While there are a hundred little things you could take camping, we’ve listed out a few things that are critical to remember.
