Another Monday again… UGH!
What if we said that today doesn’t have to be like every other Monday? What if we said this Monday or any other day in your work week, will be the best day yet?
Did we catch your attention? Let’s face it, a two-day weekend isn’t enough of a reset from the long work week. Seriously, 48 hours? Half of those hours we’re still making up sleep that we missed from the whole week!
As much as we do not like to point fingers, we’d like to have a little talk with Henry Ford (the dude responsible for the 5-day workweek).
Any who – we’re tired just like you and the next thing we’re about to tell you… you didn’t get it from us. Here are a few excuses you can use to play hooky from work.
- Your dog asked you to say home
- You have a spontaneous wilderness survival training
- You accidentally got on a plane
- There is an emergency BBQ Pitmaster Certification
- You have no clean clothes
- You have an emergency beard grooming session
- You forgot what day it was
- You have an unscheduled heavyweight arm wrestling championship
We’re not saying these are the best ideas, but you can’t say we didn’t help you. If you decide to have an arm wrestling competition, call up the bros! But first, here are a few tips to get you prepared.
