We are crazy for bacon. It may not be the healthiest thing on our plate, but we will take the deliciousness over everything. Here are some foods that are just better with bacon.

Bacon Wrapped Avocado

Avocado has become crazy popular in the past few years. Some people are fond of it, some people are not. We get it, it’s a taste and texture thing, but once you have it with bacon *chefs kiss,* you’ll end up loving it just like we do. Cut a few slices of avocado, and then start wrapping them with your favorite bacon. Sprinkle a tad bit of seasoning of your choice and pop them in the oven to bake for 15 minutes. We bet avocados will become your favorite after trying this!

Bacon Wrapped Asparagus

Not a fan of asparagus? We understand, but if you were to add some bacon into the mix, we promise that it will turn your taste buds around. All you have to do is trim your asparagus, lay it out on a baking sheet, and season it to your liking. Then get your favorite kind of bacon and start wrapping it around a bundle of asparagus. Once done, pop it in the oven for 30 minutes and then you’ll have some bacon-wrapped asparagus. Enjoy!

Southern Green Beans

Green beans can be prepared multiple ways and we think they are all good, but there is nothing like a pot of southern green beans. We can’t help it, they are just so dang good! If you’re not from the south, you may be thinking where does bacon come into play with this? Well, it’s all about how you cook your beans. Some people like to use water, regular cooking oil, or butter, but we southerners like to fry up a few pieces of bacon and let the green beans soak up all the juices. Don’t remove the bacon! Let them suckers cook with the greens too. Try it! Have we ever steered you wrong?

Roasted Potatoes with Bacon and Parmesan

Who doesn’t love a good potato? There are so many different ways to eat them, but our favorite is of course with bacon. You could eat this dish for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Get a couple of russet potatoes and an onion, and start cutting them to your desired size. Pour both onions and potatoes into a bowl and season them as desired, then set them to the side. Grab a few pieces of bacon and cut them to your desired size and cooked them until they are crispy. Grab your potatoes and add them to a baking sheet. Take some of the bacon grease and add to your potatoes. Pop it in the oven for 30 minutes. Once done, mix potatoes and bacon in one bowl, add some parmesan, and serve!
